Meditative pilgrimage in the UNESCO Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve
The meditative pilgrimage hikes on a section of the European Way of St. James pilgrims in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve are integrated into the special atmosphere of the four seasons and see themselves as explorations of sustainability. The mission of a UNESCO biosphere reserve and questions about the sources of inner strength and the good life become thematic companions along the way in a poetic way. The route starts at the Wintringer Chapel Cultural Site on the Wintringer farm.

Meditative pilgrimage on the Sternenweg in the autumnal southern Palatinate region
On October 14 and 15, the adult education center of the Saarbrücken Regional Association invites you to join guided, meditative pilgrimage hikes on sections of the European Way of St. James pilgrims - the "Starry Path " - in the UNESCO Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve. The two pilgrimage hikes follow two selected routes in the footsteps of the pilgrims of St. James through autumnal vineyards and chestnut forests, along medieval castles and village churches in the Southern Palatinate. Together with its French partner, the Northern Vosges Nature Park, the Palatinate Forest has formed Germany's only cross-border biosphere reserve since 1998.
Peter Michael Lupp, cultural officer of the regional association and head of the European model project "Starry Path/Chemin des étoiles", will accompany the group to special locations in this ancient cultural landscape. On the way, he will read texts that deal with the spiritual roots and the spiritual dimension of this old European cultural route. The question of the basic human needs for a life in the right measure - the good life - will also be explored. The great impressionist Max Slevogt and his references to the Palatinate will also be a topic.
