Cultural site Wintringer Chapel/Wintringer farm: art station and model workshop in the Bliesgau biosphere reserve
Local talk
Accompanied by site- and theme-specific artistic reflections, the Wintringer farm at the Wintringer Chapel Cultural site has been exploring what gives our earth and its creatures a perspective worth living in for several years now. The annual art projects are accompanied by local discussions. In dialog with the audience, Peter Michael Lupp traces the "art of the good life". In doing so, he spans the arc from the eventful history of the former priory church to the programmatic approach of the contemporary art projects. The current project by artist Vera Loos is also presented. Under the title "EX VOTO - I believe in miracles", the artist has explored the idea of votive images, which are placed in sacred places as thanks for a rescue that has taken place or is desired. Works of art of great aesthetic power have been created especially for the Wintringer Chapel Cultural site. www.kulturort-wintringer-kapelle.de

The present in the mirror of the past - a stroll through the places of art and culture on the Saarbrücken castle rock
Leadership
Saarbrücken Castle, together with the Saar Historical Museum, the Museum of Prehistory and Early History along with the Old Collection and the Museum in the Castle Church, is a multifaceted place of art and culture. A stroll through these places of remembrance gives an idea of different times, architectures and living environments. The past builds the future. In this spirit, the congenial artist and architect Gottfried Böhm gave Saarbrücken Castle its current silhouette as the city crown of Saarbrücken. He died in 2021 at the age of 101. The rambles pay special attention to his work.
