Art transforms

Practice seminar: Artistic [poetic] seeing and thinking

Practical example: Cultural site Wintringer Chapel with current art project

Under the title "Lupambulus", the Cultural site Wintringer Chapel is currently dedicated to St. Wolfgang as the patron saint of the Wintringer church. The Latin translation of the name Wolfgang - Lupambulus - has given the artistic process a mysterious and cheerful character. New images and signs for reality were uncovered from past messages that were embedded in the remains of a former priory church a long time ago via the illuminated figure of St. Wolfgang as part of an artistic search movement: Love as a basic understanding between people. Formation of the heart in the mirror of art in everyday life. The concept of the art project searched further into the viewer's perceptions with an inquiring eye, not least to reveal the transformative character of artistic processes. As part of a seminar, curator and artist Peter Michael Lupp will present the vision of the Cultural site and the art project and the artworks created as a result. This is an invitation to consciously perceive the abilities to see and think artistically [poetically] and to explore them on site.
