Along the Milky Way - texts and poems about being on the move

Pilgrims in the Middle Ages once used the fine star trail of the Milky Way as a guide to their longed-for destination of Santiago de Compostela. Today, the sunken network of paths is one of the spiritual roots of Europe. Under the title "Starry Path", the former cultural officer of the Saarbrücken Regional Association has traced the sunken paths of the pilgrims of St. James in the Greater Region and written a number of poetic texts as an impulse to pause and reflect. According to his findings, the visible and invisible witnesses of the pilgrims' quest can still inspire our movements and thought patterns in the present. It is therefore worth setting out to follow these sunken paths as pilgrims for the values of Europe, especially for peace. As part of a reading, the author invites us to follow the vision of the European model project "Starry Path/Chemin des étoiles" in a literary and poetic way.
